MVP discs

MVP Disc Sports was founded in 2010 and built its catalog around GYRO overmold technology. Its patented dual-polymer construction uses a heavier outer rim around a lighter central core, shifting more of the disc's mass toward the perimeter. MVP says the resulting increase in moment of inertia enhances the gyroscopic effect as the disc spins.

MVP's plastics describe the central disc material used alongside the separate GYRO overmold. Electron is its grippy baseline family, while Neutron is the flagship opaque premium blend and Proton is the highly durable translucent option. Plasma adds a metallic sheen and grippier flex, Eclipse is the glow family, and Fission uses an ultralight microbubble core that allows more of the disc's weight to be concentrated in the GYRO rim. Additional variants include Cosmic Neutron, R2 Neutron and Cosmic Electron.

MVP operates two related disc brands alongside the main MVP line. Axiom uses the same GYRO overmold concept with colored rims and a separate catalog of molds, while Streamline focuses on single-material, solo-mold designs without the overmold. Together, MVP, Axiom and Streamline form three distinct catalogs from the same manufacturing operation.
