Fission plastic

Fission is MVP's microbubble core material, used with Axiom as well. The company describes it as pairing an ultralight core with the same overmold as its Neutron counterpart, which lets a disc reach the light 150 and 160 gram classes without shrinking.

The result is a durable, moderately stiff disc that is dramatically easier to get up to speed than a full-weight example of the same mold. Lighter discs also tend to fly a little more understable, so a Fission disc is not simply a lighter version of the same flight.
