Tesla

Distance Driver

The Tesla is a stable to overstable control driver produced by MVP, and flies like a slightly faster Volt. For power throwers it will show a slight turn and a consistent fade and will be a reliably overstable driver for slower arms. The Tesla can hold up to being thrown very hard and is resistant to turning over, making it a very popular choice for headwind shots or straight distance lines.

MVP released the Tesla in 2014 as part of their popular 20mm-wing class of drivers. Many runs of the Tesla tend to be more overstable than the numbers would suggest, but that has not diminished the driver’s popularity. A large part of its success is due to Simon Lizotte bagging and throwing them quite often, even making the Tesla his Team Series disc for 2024.  Collectible runs of Tesla’s include Skulboy stamps, Lizotte Tesla’s, and “Patent Pending” versions.
