Cypher

Control Driver
The Cypher is a very understable MVP fairway driver rated 7/5/-3/1, built for hyzer flips, long turnovers, and easy S-curves at moderate power. The deep turn paired with only a touch of fade makes it forgiving for developing arms, while stronger throwers can use it as a dependable roller and turnover tool. It is a standard MVP release rather than part of a signature line. PDGA-approved in February 2021, the Cypher sat unreleased for years before reaching players through the 2026 MVP Circuit Challenge player's packs as a Circuit-exclusive run.

The MVP Cypher has only 5 reviews so far, so one opinion can swing the picture. That's why there's no star average yet.

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
