The Nitro is a stable-to-overstable MVP distance driver rated 13/4/-0.5/3. It has a demanding speed requirement and a wide rim: power throwers get a shallow, flight-extending turn before a firm fade, while average throwers may see that turn only in a headwind or with a lighter disc. Newer players are likely to find speed 13 hard to use well.

MVP places it in the same stability family as its Servo, Volt, Tesla and Photon, and says its dome gives it good glide when fully powered. MVP's Energy uses the same core and dome shape as the more overstable option in that 23 mm class.

The PDGA approved the Nitro on 13 May 2016 (16-47). Try Discs lists it in Neutron as of October 2026. On our comparison table its nearest matches are the Axiom Panic and the Dynamic Discs Raider.
