Axiom discs

Axiom Discs is one of three brands produced by MVP Disc Sports and shares its manufacturing and technology. Like MVP, its discs use the GYRO overmold, which molds a denser outer rim around a lighter core.

MVP introduced Axiom in January 2014 as a brand with a new focus on style, pairing colored GYRO rims with Neutron and Proton cores, its own stamp and foil series, and a distinct set of molds meant to complement the MVP lineup rather than duplicate it. The Envy, Proxy, Crave, Hex and Insanity are the molds that carry the brand. It uses the same plastic ladder as its siblings, running Electron at the soft baseline through Neutron and Proton at the premium end, plus Fission, Plasma, Prism, Cosmic and Eclipse variants.

Because the three brands share plastics and a factory, an Axiom, an MVP and a Streamline disc in the same blend will feel closely related in the hand. The differences are in the mold shapes and the intended audience.
