Ahti

4.7(59)
Control Driver
The Ahti is a very overstable Westside fairway driver rated 9/3/0/4. Low glide and a heavy fade make it a tool for headwind drives, spike hyzers, flex lines and forehands rather than for distance. Players who want a straight finish, a turnover line or easy carry at slower arm speeds should look elsewhere. Westside pitches it for heavy wind, spike hyzers and flex shots. Early discussion on Disc Golf Course Review in 2017 placed it alongside other 9-speed overstable fairway drivers, and one poster said it first appeared in the player pack at a Westside tournament in Finland. The PDGA approved the Ahti on 23 March 2017 (17-34). Westside names it after Ahti, king of the islands in the Kalevala, and the stamp art is by Arto Hoffrén (2017). On our comparison table its nearest matches are the Discmania Splice and the Latitude 64 Pioneer.

4.759 reviews from 4 stores

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
