9 Iron Chip & Putt

The 9 Iron Chip & Putt is a low-speed putt-and-approach-class disc with no published four-number flight rating. Its narrow 1.0 cm rim and 1.2 cm rim depth support short-range use, but the dimensions do not establish glide, turn, fade, or stability. The submitted test disc labels intended uses including putts, tomahawks, a hit-and-stick shot, and a midrange roller.

The PDGA approved the mold on October 26, 2023 under certification 23-241. The certification sample is marked Sili-Soft, High Friction Coeff., and Energy Absorption, and its 0.91 kg flexibility result documents an exceptionally flexible sample. The cert stamp carries a store URL that has never served a live page, and Tomahawk Specialty Discs LLC was administratively dissolved in September 2025, so the mold appears never to have reached general production.
