Wedge

The Wedge is a low-profile putt-and-approach disc rated 3.5/3/-3/1, a straight-to-understable mold that sits, as its name suggests, between a putter and a midrange. It is easy to grip and release, which makes it comfortable for smaller hands and for players who like a low, straight-flying putter.

As a putter it has a neutral, straight flight, and for beginners it is a forgiving all-around disc thanks to that straight flight and minimal fade. More advanced players use it as an accurate approach disc and a controllable turnover or roller mid. It is a beadless, low-profile disc. Because it leans understable, it is not a wind-fighting or overstable finishing disc; it favors calm, straight lines.

Approved in 2010, the Wedge has since been discontinued, a low-profile putter-mid hybrid from Innova's lineup.

Older runs turn up secondhand, where the low profile and straight, easy release remain its defining feel.
