The PX-3 is an overstable, beaded Prodigy putter rated 3/3/0/2. It flies straight and then fades firmly, which suits putting, approaches and throwing shots that need to resist turning over. Players who want an understable putter should look elsewhere. Prodigy describes it as a slightly faster member of its putter family that has a bigger bead than the PA-3, useful for both throwing and putting, and says it resists turning over at high speed before a predictable fade. On Disc Golf Course Review, two players described a very straight flight followed by a firm fade. The PDGA approved the PX-3 on 25 October 2021 (21-114), and Prodigy's 2023 update set its current numbers. On our comparison table its nearest matches are the Gateway Chief OS and the Hooligan Discs Cash.

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
