Sonar

The Sonar is a putt and approach disc rated 3/4/0/2. Zero turn into a 2 fade suggests a stable putter flight with a dependable left finish for a right-hand backhand. It is not the putter for turnover lines.

DGA, the company founded by Ed Headrick, whom its own site calls the Father of Disc Golf, sells the Sonar as an overstable, beaded putt and approach disc, pitched in its store copy at a consistent fade from almost any angle and at upshots and putting alike. The bead field on this page agrees with the store's beaded call. The PDGA approved the mold on 1 April 2024.
