The Armadillo is a slow, beadless putter featuring a pronounced thumbtrack. It exhibits a straight to slightly overstable flight and is intended to glide straight before gently fading and sticking where it lands with minimal ground action. The Armadillo is a unique disc that has a large, rounded rim, a sharp thumbtrack, and a flat top, which makes it suitable for both forehand and backhand throws. The putter is also notably torque-resistant, a feature that makes it stand out among most 1-speed discs.

Armadillos were released in 2022, and quickly gained popularity because of their straight flight, unique shape, and, in the case of the Artist Series, their equally unique stamps. Lone Star produces the Armadillo in both premium and base plastics. It has also been a Tour Series disc for Leah Tsinajinnie.
