The Ballista Pro is a speed-14 Latitude 64 distance driver rated 14/4/0/3, with no turn and a solid fade. It suits strong throwers who want a fast driver that resists turning over and holds a predictable line. Players without the arm speed for a 14-speed rim, or anyone looking for a glidy, understable driver, should look elsewhere.

Latitude 64 calls it the big brother of the Ballista, with extra stability for experienced players, and pitches it as a big-arm disc that handles a lot of torque; its pages label it both stable and overstable. Players on Disc Golf Course Review describe a very fast, shallow driver; one says it flies low and straight for a long way, and one found a lighter Opto much less stable than a heavier one.

The PDGA approved the Ballista Pro on 11 December 2017 (17-127). Latitude says it fine-tuned the design during 2017 testing with top players on its team, and the first run went on sale on 23 February 2018, alongside the Explorer. Albert Tamm and JohnE McCray have had Team Series runs. On our comparison table its nearest matches are the Westside World and the Westside Catapult.
