RocX3

The RocX3 is the most overstable and torque-resistant member of the Roc family, a beaded midrange rated 5/4/0/3.5 that flies straight and finishes with a strong, dependable fade to the left (for a right-handed backhand). Innova introduced it thirty years after the original Roc as a low-profile, hefty-rimmed version built for control.

That low profile and thick rim give it extra torque resistance, which makes it ideal for windy conditions and forehand (sidearm) throws where a straighter mid would turn or flip. Power players value the control it offers at speed, and its strong fade makes it a dependable utility and approach mid. It is beadier and flatter than the classic Roc, so it holds an overstable line longer. It is not a straight or understable mid; it favors a firm, fading finish.

Approved in 2017, the RocX3 joined the Roc, Classic Roc and Roc3 as the family's overstable, wind-fighting option.

Champion runs hold the strong fade longest, which is what forehand and windy-day throwers want; DX beats in over time.
