Evader

4.7(85)
Control Driver

The Evader is a Dynamic Discs control driver rated 7/4/0/2.5: a slower fairway driver with a straight flight and a dependable fade at the end. Dynamic Discs sells it as a fairway driver to cover the distance between speed-5 midranges and speed-9 drivers, with enough stability to hold its line into the wind. Players who want a driver that turns over easily, or maximum distance, will want something else.

Dynamic Discs notes that Lucid Evaders fly a little more overstable than Fuzion ones. Players on Disc Golf Course Review report a little turn at high speed followed by a smooth, extended fade, and more glide than its rating suggests; they use it flat or on a slight anhyzer for S-shaped lines and on hyzer for controlled finishes.

The PDGA approved the Evader on 5 January 2021 (21-2). Try Discs lists it in Lucid, Fuzion, BioFuzion and Lucid Air, among other runs, as of October 2026. On our comparison table its nearest matches are the Discmania FD1 and FD2.

4.785 reviews from 5 stores

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
