Hawk

The Hawk is a discontinued early-90s midrange rated 4/3/-2/2: slow, understable, and modest in glide, a mold from the era before midranges settled into their modern shapes. Certified in September 1993 as "The Hawk" (PDGA cert 93-09), it predates the entire modern mid row.

By modern standards it flies like a gentle touch mid: easy turn at ordinary power, soft finish, and no appetite for wind.

It left the standard lineup long ago, returning occasionally in special runs, which is why Big Z and Tour Series Z stamps exist alongside the vintage Pro-D and later ESP copies.
