Cobra

The Cobra is a large-diameter, understable-leaning midrange rated 4/5/-2/2, an easy-gripping mold with a gentle turn to the right (for a right-handed backhand), good glide and a mild fade. It is a beginner-friendly classic, versatile for long slow turning shots and rollers.

Its large diameter and thin rim make it easy to grip and release cleanly, which is part of why it is so forgiving for newer players and comfortable for smaller hands. The predictable turn-and-glide flight suits controlled turnovers and long rollers, and it has a long, useful lifespan as it beats in gradually. Because it turns, it is not a wind-fighting or overstable mid; it favors touch and turning lines. It is a beadless, large-diameter mid.

Approved in 1988, the Cobra is one of Innova's oldest midranges from the sport's early years.
