Panther

The Panther is a slightly understable midrange rated 5/4/-2/1, a shallow-rimmed mold with an easy turn to the right (for a right-handed backhand) and a light fade, designed for controlled medium and short-range shots. It is beginner-friendly and one of the easier discs for learning a slow, controlled turnover.

Its understable, shallow-rimmed flight is what makes it forgiving: it turns willingly and glides for players still developing power, and it doubles as a small-diameter roller for mid to long range. Stronger players can use it for gentle turnovers and touch lines. It is a beadless, shallow mid. Because it turns and fades little, it is not a wind-fighting or overstable finishing mid; it favors touch and controlled turning shots.

Approved in 1993, the Panther is one of Innova's older midranges from the sport's early years.
