Cyclone 2

The Cyclone 2 is a mid-1990s Discraft driver that shares the exact PDGA dimensions of the original 1993 Cyclone, differing only in a softer plastic (a lower flexibility reading), which points to a re-certification of the same mould (PDGA 96-03, June 1996) rather than a new shape. Collectors know it by its "Super Stable Driver" hot stamp, which Marshall Street Disc Golf reads as a more overstable take on the Cyclone. Collector listings show it in Elite X plastic, including a 1997 Doubles Series run. It was long ago discontinued and turns up mainly in collector listings today. Discraft did not publish a separate flight rating for it; retailer listings that carry one reuse the original Cyclone's 7/4/-1/2.
