Cheetah

The Cheetah is a versatile, easy-to-throw fairway driver rated 6/4/-2/2, flying straight with a gentle turn and a dependable fade to the left at the end (for a right-handed backhand). It is one of Innova's oldest control drivers, valued for long straight shots at any skill level.

Its character shifts with power: it flies predictably stable at lower speeds and will turn over slightly when thrown harder, which makes it forgiving for less powerful players and a controllable straight-line disc for stronger ones. It has enough glide to reach without demanding a big arm. It is a beadless fairway driver. Modern faster fairway drivers have taken over much of its role, but the Cheetah remains a smooth, approachable classic.

Approved in 1995, the Cheetah is one of Innova's original fairway drivers from the sport's early years.

DX is the classic beat-friendly run; Champion and Star hold the flight and last far longer.
