DDx

The DDx is a discontinued Discmania distance driver, rated 12/6/-1/2: fast, glidey, and just understable enough to give average arms a full S-curve with genuinely surprising distance. It was the brand's everyman bomber, far easier to unlock than the PD2 or DD3.

Thrown at modest power it holds a long, drifting turn before a predictable fade brings it back, exactly the recipe distance-hungry mid-level players want, while bigger arms could flip it for rollers and sweeping anhyzers. That approachability made it a quiet favorite of the Innova-made era.

Discmania retired the DDx around its transition away from Innova production and pointed players to the Evolution line's Enigma as the successor; that same Enigma mold now carries the DD2 name in the current lineup, so the DDx's spirit lives on two renames later. Remaining stock and used copies still circulate, mostly in the S-Line and C-Line runs listed here.
