Hummingbird

DISCONTINUED
Putt & Approach
The Hummingbird is a Wild Discs putter rated 2/4/0/1: a straight putter with a small fade. Wild Discs designed it for straight putts that hold their line into the chains rather than fading off at the last moment, so it suits players who want a predictable, straight putting disc. Players who want a putter to fight the wind or hold a hyzer should look elsewhere. In an October 2020 launch post, Wild Discs presented the Hummingbird as its first released disc and said it had designed its own mold, with Gateway handling the injection molding. The brand was started by Kyle Knab in June 2020 and named its discs after animals. By May 2024 Wild Discs listed it in firm and soft versions of its rubber-blend Landslide plastic. The PDGA approved the Hummingbird on 19 January 2021 (21-7). Wild Discs' store went offline in 2024, and the disc carries a discontinued badge here. Try Discs lists it in Landslide and Quicksand. On our comparison table its nearest matches are the Innova Aviar and the MVP Ohm.

Questions

Reviews

4 reviews from 2 stores

The Wild Discs Hummingbird has only 4 reviews so far, so one opinion can swing the picture. That's why there's no star average yet.

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
