The Cosmos is Viking Discs' straight-flight fairway driver rated 7/5/0/1. Its light finishing fade fits controlled drives through gaps, particularly when a stronger hook would pull the landing away from the intended line. Viking recommends Cosmos to beginners for straight flights with some turn. The company specifically recommends narrow fairways. That makes the mold a control-oriented option instead of a disc selected mainly for forceful fading recovery. The PDGA approved Cosmos on 29 December 2016 (16-87).

4.144 reviews from 3 stores

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
