The Ursus is an overstable, beaded midrange rated 5/4/0/3. It is intended to push straight before a reliable finish, with enough torque resistance for powered backhands and forehands. That makes it useful for controlled approaches and wind-exposed midrange shots, but less suitable than a neutral mid when the line must finish without fade.

The PDGA approved the Ursus on December 20, 2021 under certification 21-152. Documented materials include Calcite Glow, Glass, Glow Granite and a Signature Glass run.

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
