The Varma is a midrange rated 5/3/0/1. Low glide with zero turn and a single point of fade suggests a short, honest midrange flight that holds its line and settles rather than carrying. It is not a disc for stretching distance. Its name is the Finnish word for sure or certain, in the register Taito Frisbeegolf uses across its molds: the brand's own name is the Finnish word for skill. The PDGA approved it on 29 August 2022, the last of the three consecutively numbered certifications issued to the brand that day. Its certification page carries no sample photograph, and Taito's July 2022 launch post prints the same rating. TryDiscs lists it in Ultrium.
