Pondskater

The Pondskater is rated 9/4/-2/2. Two points of turn into a 2 fade suggest an S-shaped fairway flight, right drift at speed and a firm left finish for a right-hand backhand; TryDiscs files it as a control driver. It is not a disc for one straight, quiet line.

Supersonic Discs calls it a fairway driver with exceptionally long glide and a controllable S-curved flight that looks like it is sailing off course before it stabilizes and fades. The Danish brand leans on its party trick: like the insect it is named for, the disc floats, so its pitch is throwing over water holes without sacrificing a disc, plus skip shots off the ground. There is a conflict in the sources, disclosed rather than resolved: the brand's launch announcement printed the same figures carried here, and the flight panel stamped on the discs in its store listings agrees with it, while the current catalogue prints 9/4/-3/1 under the flight-number system the brand rolled out in August 2025. PDGA approval came on 10 May 2024, the same day as the brand's Loop, and the launch post put it in stores that July.
