Idol

The Idol was PDGA approved in July 2025. It  is a a stable-overstable 13-speed driver with a workable slight turn and a strong fade. In Mint’s own words, the Idol is “Flat, Fast, and Fierce” – designed to handle power (“torque-resistant”) yet carry great distance.

Interestingly, Mint partnered with Prodigy Disc to manufacture the Idol. This collaboration is new for Mint as their earlier molds were made by MVP. The Idol, molded in Prodigy’s plastic in Georgia, appears to share some DNA with the Prodigy Falcor. So you can think of the Idol as a close cousin of the Falcor – a long-distance driver that top pros like to crush. Early reviewers (mainly Team Mint players) who tested the Idol at the Texas “Sizzler” event reported it has “clean lines, buttery glide” and a comfortable grip. The flat top was emphasized, aiding both backhand and forehand throws.
