Lightning claims that the #2 Hookshot is a “very fast, long range driver”. We consider it more of a midrange hooking control disc, because it’s just plain not that fast. The #1 Hookshot can handle strong winds and powerful throws and makes an excellent midrange disc. In lower weights, the #1 Hookshot floats in water.

Reviews

6 reviews from 2 stores

The Lightning Discs #2 Hookshot has only 6 reviews so far, so one opinion can swing the picture. That's why there's no star average yet.

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
