SL

The SL, or Starfire L, is a fast, controllable distance driver rated 10/5/-1/2, a longer, less overstable take on the Starfire that flies with a slight high-speed turn and a dependable fade to the left at the end (for a right-handed backhand). The L designation marks it as the straighter, longer variant.

Compared to the more overstable Starfire, the SL holds a straighter line for longer with less fade, which makes it a more controllable distance option for a range of arm speeds. It rewards a smooth release and gives shaped distance without diving out early. It is a beadless distance driver. It is now discontinued, part of Innova's family of L-series drivers alongside the TL and FL.

The SL sits in Innova's lineup as the longer, straighter sibling of the Starfire.

Older runs turn up secondhand, where the straighter, longer Starfire flight remains its appeal.
