Roadrunner

The Roadrunner is a very understable control driver that excels at turnovers and rollers. It has very high glide and minimal fade, making it an ideal first driver for getting a full flight and good distance. For intermediate and advanced players, however, the Roadrunner lives up to its namesake with its potential for long, controlled rollers, as well as sweeping turnovers.

The Roadrunner was approved in 2005 and was the first wide-rimmed disc intended specifically for rolling. However, over the years the Roadrunner has been known to come in a wide range of stabilities: some are extremely understable and some are closer to neutral flyers. Regardless, the beginner-friendly nature and rolling capabilities of this disc have made it quite popular since its release. Several pros have been known to bag a Roadrunner, including Gregg Barsby, Nate Sexton, and Holly Finley. PFN and Metal Flake Roadrunners are collectible, as are some variations of Barsby Signature Series Roadrunners.
