Groove

The Groove is a fast, understable-leaning distance driver rated 13/6/-2/2, a wide-rimmed speed-13 mold that flies super fast, long and straight with a gentle turn and a mild fade (for a right-handed backhand). Its signature is an innovative groove on the underside of the rim.

That channel is what makes it distinctive: it lets Innova mold the disc in lighter weights than their other wide-rim high-speed drivers, which gives it long, straight flights that are easier to bring out than a heavier bomber. It throws well low or high, backhand or forehand. Innova's own pitch sums it up: if the Boss proved to be too much disc, get into the Groove. It is a shallow, beadless speed-13 rim.

Approved in 2008, the Groove is one of Innova's approachable, lighter-weight distance drivers.

Champion is the premium run that holds the flight; lighter weights emphasize the long, straight glide the groove enables.
