Dragon

The Dragon is a lightweight, understable fairway driver rated 8/5/-2/2, built with excellent glide so that less powerful throwers can get more distance with less effort. It turns willingly to the right (for a right-handed backhand) and glides long, making it a friendly distance aid.

Its defining traits are that glide and its light, floaty construction: made in a special plastic blend with great grip, the Dragon actually floats in water, and it is produced only in lighter weights, roughly the 150 to 160 gram range, to maximize distance for slower arms. Stronger players will turn it over, so they use it for turnovers and rollers. It is a beadless fairway driver. Anyone wanting a stable, wind-fighting driver should look elsewhere.

Approved in 2001, the Dragon is one of Innova's understable, lightweight distance aids, and one of the few Innova discs that floats.

It comes only in lighter weights and a grippy floating plastic blend, which is its whole design.
