Classic Roc

The Classic Roc is a small-diameter beaded putt-and-approach disc rated 3/3/0/2, flying straight and finishing with a mild, dependable fade to the left (for a right-handed backhand). Its lower profile and smaller diameter set it apart from the larger modern Roc, and it rewards players who want putter-sized touch on shorter holes and longer approaches.

Its strength is control: it holds the angle you release it on and beats in slowly and predictably, which makes it a trusted approach and touch disc. Note that "Classic" is the model name, not a plastic type, the disc is offered in DX, KC Pro and Star, with DX giving the grippiest, most workable feel and KC Pro and Star holding the flight longer.

The Roc lineage traces to Innova's early years in the mid-1980s; the Classic Roc mold earned its PDGA certification in 1994, and the reissue keeps that original low-profile shape alive alongside the current Roc and Roc3 for players who want the vintage feel.
