Archon

The Archon is a smooth, speed-11 distance driver rated 11/5/-2/2, blending a graceful, long high-speed turn with a dependable fade to the left at the end (for a right-handed backhand). Innova describes it as combining the long turn of the Katana with the smooth fade of a Wraith, and it has been called a longer Valkyrie.

That balance is its appeal: it turns and glides for distance, then comes back reliably, giving moderate and strong arms a controllable, shapeable long flight rather than the demanding stability of a max-speed driver. It rewards a smooth release and holds up reasonably in wind for an understable-leaning driver. It is a shallow, beadless speed-11 rim.

Approved in 2011, the Archon sits in Innova's control-distance range as a smooth, S-flight distance driver.

Star and Echo Star give the fullest turn and glide; Champion holds the more stable end and lasts longer.
