Surge SS

The Surge SS is the understable take on Discraft's Surge, rated 11/5/-2/2: the same power-driver frame with the turn dialed up. Moderate arms get long S-flights and easy distance from it; big arms will push it into rollers and flip-overs unless they start it high on hyzer.

The -2 turn arrives early in the flight and the fade still shows up at the end, so full flights finish honest. It beats in toward more turn, and seasoned copies make natural roller and tailwind discs.

Discraft approved the Surge SS in February 2008 (PDGA cert 08-05), two years after the Surge, giving the mold's speed class a moderate-arm option before the Nuke generation arrived.

ESP and Z Line anchor the runs, Z Lite drops weight for slower arms, ESP FLX adds flex, and the Tour Series Z runs (including a Metallic version) plus swirled ESP cover the collector shelf.
