The Guide is a midrange rated 5/5/-2/1. A turn rating of -2 with a fade rating of 1 suggests an understable flight that drifts right at speed for a right-hand backhand and finishes softly. Its ratings suggest it is less suited to players seeking strong turnover resistance or a pronounced fade. Full Turn Discs, based in Joplin, Missouri, says its discs come from a collaboration with the Finnish maker Prodiscus, and prints the same rating on the Guide's stamp. In April 2023 the brand announced that each amateur at the upcoming Full Turn Open would receive a first-run Express Guide in the player pack, and it later listed a glow run in Ground plastic, which Full Turn describes as soft and which TryDiscs does not yet record. The PDGA approved it on 23 January 2023 (23-20). TryDiscs lists it in Express.
