Scavenger

Mid Range

The Scavenger is Doomsday Discs' understable midrange rated 5/5/-2/1. Turn and a light fade fit finesse approaches, hyzer flips and longer curves through wooded fairways.

Doomsday recommends using release angles to work the flight and describes it as an easy throwing option. Its Shockwave listing also identifies a relatively shallow rim. That specific shape detail is worth checking when choosing a grip, while the turn gives it a different assignment from a midrange bought for a hard fading recovery.

The PDGA approved Scavenger on 7 August 2023 (23-204).

4 reviews from 1 store

The Doomsday Discs Scavenger has only 4 reviews so far, so one opinion can swing the picture. That's why there's no star average yet.

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
