Soft Magnet

The Soft Magnet is the softer-plastic take on Discraft's Magnet putter, listed here at 2/3/-1/2: the familiar slow, gently understable putting flight with a floppier, chalkier feel in the hand that grips chains and kills skips on approach.

Soft blends change the job: less glide and bounce, more stick-the-landing, which is why many players carry a soft putter specifically for approaches and short technical greens.

The Soft Magnet never held its own PDGA certification; it rides the original Magnet's 1993 approval (cert 93-06) as a plastic variant that was long sold as its own catalog item. This standalone listing is retired; the base Magnet remains in the lineup.
