APX

The APX is a beadless, traditional-profile putt-and-approach disc rated 2/2/-1/1: slow, low-glide, and nearly neutral, with just a whisper of turn and fade. It is a pure putting putter, the low glide taking distance-control errors out of putts while the classic straight rim profile gives a consistent, comfortable release.

On approaches it flies short and honest, dying at the target rather than sliding past, which is exactly what its users want from it.

Approved in January 1999 (PDGA cert 99-01), the APX has spent over twenty-five years as a quiet fixture of Discraft's putter row, predating the modern putter boom and surviving it.
