The Sky-Star is a discontinued oversized disc certified in 1981 (PDGA cert 81-01), the certification number directly before the Ultra-Star's in the PDGA record. At 24.1 centimeters and up to 200 grams, it is a catch-and-throw mold from Discraft's founding Sky series, not a golf disc in any modern sense. It faded as the Ultra-Star became the company's defining ultimate disc, and it carries no flight numbers here. Surviving copies are early-Discraft artifacts for collectors of the pre-golf era.
