Zephyr

The Zephyr is a large-diameter throw-and-catch disc rated 2/3/0/0, a straight, true-flying disc with a lot of glide, long a favorite for self-caught-flight events like Discathon and Accuracy. It is as much a beach and park catch disc as a golf disc.

Its very straight, glidey flight is the point: it holds a true line and floats, which makes it ideal for playing catch and for the overall-format field events it is known for. Innova builds it with a grippy Thumtrac rim for durability and a secure hold, especially on sidearm throws. It is a large, beadless disc. As an oversized specialty and catch disc, it is not a standard golf midrange or putter.

Approved in 1992, the Zephyr is one of Innova's long-standing catch and self-caught-flight discs.

It comes in durable, grippy plastics suited to catching and field events.
