Rattler

The Rattler is a discontinued touch putter rated 2/2/-2/1: slow, low-glide, and understable, a thin-rimmed, tall-profile putter that drops where you float it. Players used it for die-at-the-target putts and short finesse approaches that must not run past.

The -2 turn means it holds anhyzer lines readily and rarely fights back to the left, the opposite philosophy of the overstable approach class.

It was certified back in August 1994 under the name "Rattler Putter" (PDGA cert 94-08), served the lineup's touch slot for years, and has since been retired aside from special runs, which is why swirled ESP and Jawbreaker stamps circulate alongside old Pro-D copies.
