Predator

The Predator is an overstable control driver rated 9/4/1/4: it resists turning even at high power and finishes with a hard left fade. It is a forehand and headwind fairway driver and a shaping tool for flex lines; players looking for straight glide at this speed are holding the wrong disc.

Torque does not move it, which is the point: full-power forehands, gusty fairways, and skip finishes all stay predictable. The modest glide keeps landings tight rather than long.

Approved in May 2002 (PDGA cert 02-06), the Predator is one of the longer-serving overstable fairways in Discraft's lineup, refreshed over the years by team-series runs.

ESP and Z Line are the standards, the FLX blends (ESP FLX, CryZtal FLX) add flexible grip, and Big Z, Titanium Swirl, Z Metallic, and Tour Series ESP round out the premium shelf.
