Captain's Raptor

The Captain's Raptor is a modified, more overstable version of Discraft's Raptor, rated 9/3/1/4: resisting flip even at high power, with low glide, and a hard left finish. It is a control-distance utility driver for forehands, headwinds, and flex lines, sold as Paul Ulibarri's signature disc; slower arms will find it strictly a hyzer disc.

Compared with the standard Raptor, this one is tuned further overstable (the PDGA certification literally reads "modified overstable Raptor"), so the flight is all reliability: it absorbs torque without complaint and comes back early on nearly any line.

Certified in December 2021 (PDGA cert 21-153), it belongs to longtime Team Discraft pro and team captain Paul Ulibarri, reaching shelves through his annual signature runs (a Wysocki collaboration edition among them); the "Captain" in the name is his team title.

Current runs are limited to ESP Swirl and a Special Blend Z, both typically carrying his stamp.
