Nuke SS

The Nuke SS is the understable version of Discraft's Nuke, rated 13/5/-3/3: a maximum-speed driver that turns hard right out of the hand before fading back late. It was made to give moderate arms real distance through long S-curves, and it doubles as a tailwind and roller disc; genuinely big arms will flip it too far.

Thrown with moderate power it opens into the full S-flight the numbers promise, and the -3 turn plus fade 3 means both ends of the flight are dramatic. As it beats in, the turn takes over, and well-used copies tend to become dedicated roller and tailwind discs, which players treat as a feature rather than a flaw.

Discraft approved the Nuke SS in April 2011 (PDGA cert 11-15), extending the Nuke family that began in 2009, and it has stayed the line's moderate-arm distance option since.

ESP and Z Line are the core runs, Pro-D and X Line are the budget doors in, and Z Lite trims weight for slower arms, an especially good match for this mold. FLX and Swirl variants (ESP FLX, ESP Swirl, Z FLX) plus Titanium and Tour Series runs fill out the shelf.
