Comet

The Comet is a classic understable midrange rated 4/5/-2/1, a glidey, beaded mold that turns gently to the right (for a right-handed backhand) and holds that turn before only a slight fade. One of Discraft's oldest midranges, it has long been valued for its big glide and easy, controllable turnover flights.

That combination of glide and gentle turn makes it a forgiving, versatile mid: it holds straight-to-turning lines, floats for extra carry, and shapes easy turnover and hyzer-flip shots. The beaded rim gives it a secure, classic feel. It is a beaded midrange. It leans understable, so it favors touch and turning lines over overstable, wind-fighting finishes.

Approved in 1995, the Comet is one of Discraft's long-standing understable midranges, a glide-forward classic.
