Cigarra

The Cigarra is a modified, more overstable sibling of Discraft's Cicada, rated 7/6/-1/2: the same glide-forward fairway frame with a firmer finish. It keeps the easy carry that defines the Cicada while adding enough fade to hold lines in breeze, aimed at smooth arms who found the original a touch too flippy at power.

The glide 6 is still the story: long, floating flights at moderate speed, now with a left-hand ending you can plan around rather than a soft settle.

The PDGA certification, granted in January 2025 (cert 25-18), literally reads "modified overstable Cicada," making the family relationship official. It arrived as Anthony Barela's first signature disc with Discraft, and this entry will grow as runs and reviews accumulate.
