The TD2 is a discontinued Discmania turning driver, rated 10/5/-4/1: deeply understable with high glide, built to give average arms the full flight of turn, drift, and gentle return that faster drivers reserve for big throwers. It doubled as a roller disc and a tailwind specialist.

It came out of the brand's Innova-made era, covering the turning-driver slot beside the straighter TD, and Discmania has since retired it, pointing players toward the Genius and Astronaut as its modern successors.

Remaining S-Line and C-Line copies circulate secondhand, and a lightly used TD2 is still one of the cheapest ways to learn what a full S-curve feels like.

  • Is the Discmania TD2 still made?
    No, the TD2 has been discontinued. It was one of Discmania’s original understable turning drivers, introduced in 2012. For a similar very understable, high-glide distance driver, Discmania recommends the Genius or the Astronaut.

  • What was the TD2 good for?
    Easy distance, turnovers, and rollers. Its understable flight and high glide let players get long right-turning lines (for a right-handed backhand) with less power, and stronger players used it for controlled rollers and long anhyzer flex shots.
