Control Driver

The Gamma Ray is one of ABC’s better kept secrets. Best used for a powerful straight drive, the Gamma Ray can stay on target and keep you in the clear. The ratings for the gamma ray are 9/4/-2/2. Its high speed, steady glide, and consistent turn and fade allow you to direct the gamma through the air. For intermediate players that can control a slight hyzer release, the disc can sail hundreds of feet in a straight line. For advanced players with a powerful throw right hand backhand, this disc can easily sail through the air, turning right steadily until the very end.

4 reviews from 1 store

The ABC Discs Gamma Ray has only 4 reviews so far, so one opinion can swing the picture. That's why there's no star average yet.

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
