The Yao is a slower Yikun disc rated 4/4/0/3. It suits approaches with a largely straight start and a strong finish, including hyzer routes around a nearby obstacle. Players seeking an easy drifting turnover may find more stability than the intended shot requires.

Yikun identifies the Yao as a midrange and publishes a full-size diameter with a relatively deep rim. The PDGA approved Yao (文鳐鱼) on 1 November 2013.

8 reviews from 1 store

The Yikun Yao has only 8 reviews so far, so one opinion can swing the picture. That's why there's no star average yet.

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
